A very special shoutout to Cairo-Durham High School senior and Questar III BOCES New Visions: Pathways in Education student Abigail Brandow, who recently participated in a group presentation for a government project.
Students brainstormed ideas that they'd like to see implemented in their schools, then conducted a student survey and other research to support their plan, while also providing ideas and resources on how to launch their concepts at their schools.
Abigail Brandow's group presented the idea of a "Free Food Fridge" being accessible for school community members to Questar III BOCES Superintendent Gladys Cruz, New Visions: Pathways in Education teacher Jenifer Kish and Cairo-Durham High School Principal Catherine Dodig.
