Pre-K/Kindergarten Registration 

To be eligible for Pre-K this fall, children must be four (4) years of age on or before December 1, 2024 and reside within the Cairo-Durham Central School District. To view a poster for 2024-25 Pre-K enrollment, please click here.

To be eligible for Kindergarten this fall, children must be five (5) years of age on or before December 1, 2024 and reside within the Cairo-Durham Central School District.

To get a Pre-K/Kindergarten registration packet, please contact Joanne Cleary at 518-622-3231 or jcleary@cairodurham.org to make arrangements.

Required Information

The following information is required in order to enroll your child(ren) for school at Cairo-Durham CSD:

  • Proof of date of birth (birth certificate or passport)

  • Proof of residency (e.g., utility bill, bas oil, electric, cable, rental agreement)

  • Picture ID of the parent/guardian (e.g., driver's license)

  • Immunization Record/Physician Health Form

Note: Students experiencing homelessness or temporary housing situations may not be required to provide the items listed above. Such families should contact Douglas Morrissey, the district's Homeless Education Liaison, at 518-622-0261 or by email at dmorrissey@cairodurham.org

Change of Residency (Within District)

If you change residency but still live within the Cairo-Durham Central School District, please download and complete the Change of Residency packet (PDF) to continue enrollment for your child(ren). It includes proof of residency information, a Residency Questionnaire, and a Request for Transportation form.
