Ms. Flubacher’s fifth graders dissected owl pellets when they were learning about energy and ecosystems. They were able to discover what owls eat, then establish the energy flow and create a food pyramid based on what they discovered. They determined that owls were at the top of the pyramid, then the mouse (because of the mouse bones found in the pellets), then insects/bugs, and then plants at the bottom.

There is no student attendance next Friday, March 18th due to a superintendent's conference day.
