4th and 5th graders in Mr. Heilmann’s special education class are beginning to learn valuable life skills. Recently they made independent choices about what they wanted to have for a special lunch, and they picked things like sandwiches, tacos, and yogurt parfait with fruit. After selecting their ingredients from a grocery store pamphlet, the students had to add up the prices so they would know the cost. They even got to make their own lunches when the ingredients arrived. What are you having for lunch today?

Schools are closed Friday, February 4, 2022, due to inclement weather.

Thank you to everyone who made Mr. Stein’s birthday so special. The cards, balloons, cookies, and birthday wishes were wonderful!

Pre-K students recently talked about the important lessons taught by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. such as how we may be different on the outside but we are the same in the inside, and everyone has feelings so it’s important to treat others with kindness.

Last week, students received positive referrals for #perseverance. Keep being a model of effort and dedication
