NOTICE: The Cairo-Durham Central School District Board of Education meeting scheduled for Thursday, March 21, 2024 has been canceled. The next Board of Education and Budget Workshop meeting will take place on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at 6 p.m. in the Cairo-Durham High School Distance Learning Room.

The Cairo-Durham Middle School Student Council is sponsoring a "Glow Dance" on Friday, March 22 from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. at Cairo-Durham Middle School! Pre-sale tickets are available during announcements the week of March 18-21 for $8, and tickets will be available for $10 at the door. Concessions will be available for purchase at the dance. Students are encouraged to wear neon, glow sticks, or anything that shows up under the black lights! Can't wait to see you there!

Penny Wars are coming to Cairo-Durham Elementary School the week of March 18-22, 2024! HOW TO PARTICIPATE: Each classroom has their own coin collecting jug for collecting points. Each grade level will have a “sabotage” jug located in the main office. - ADD POINTS to your classroom jug by adding pennies and dollar bills. - SUBTRACT POINTS from other grade levels by adding silver coins to their “sabotage” jug THE GRADE LEVEL WITH THE MOST POINTS WINS A FANCY LUNCH! On March 12, 2024, students and staff in Cairo-Durham Middle School's Peer Mentoring group collaborated on piecing puzzles together!

What an amazing turnout last night, March 14, 2024, for the annual "March Madness" Cairo-Durham Elementary School faculty and staff vs. Cairo-Durham Middle/High School faculty and staff basketball game to benefit all four grade levels at CDHS! Congratulations to the CDMS/HS team for emerging victorious by a final score of 48-43!

It's the last day of ​"Penny Wars" at Cairo-Durham Middle School! The three grade levels are competing to see which class can collect the most points through accumulating pennies. Collection buckets for each grade will be found outside of classrooms and point scales will be posted. See the Cairo-Durham Middle School bulletin board for more information on where to find your bucket and points totals. ​ The class that collects the most points wins a Stewart’s Ice Cream party!
