The students in Mrs. Lopez’s /Mrs. Thompson’s class and Mrs. Lopez’s / Mrs. Whitbeck’s class used their writing time to make special cards for Story Farms.
Jim and Irene donated 150 pumpkins for the students at Cairo Durham Elementary School to paint at their carnival on September 27th!

CDMS students learned and played non-contact rugby yesterday during their PE class with guest instructor Renee Clarke, who is a rugby player from Australia.

Due to weather conditions, the visiting team has canceled the Modified Girls and Boys Soccer game scheduled for today, Thursday, 9/26 @ 4:30 PM at Maple Hill.

The visiting team has changed the time for today's Varsity Boys Soccer game scheduled for Monday, 9/23 @ 4:30 PM to 7pm at Hudson HS on the Soccer Turf Field. We apologize for any inconvenience as this was unexpected and out of our control.

This week students at CDES received positive referrals for the trait of curiosity in the Positivity Project. These students exhibited the trait of curiosity by asking questions, having a willingness to learn new things, and having the bravery to seek, explore, and discover.







Last week, students in MS and HS learned more about Suicide Prevention during lunches.
Thank you to AFSP for collaborating with Mrs. Drossel, our School Social Worker, who advises Sources of Strength. Bracelets, stickers, magnets, and even guitar pics with the AFSP logo were distributed! Students could choose from a variety of materials to spread messages of hope, and increase awareness and support, while decreasing the stigma of mental health challenges.
Interested students signed up for the Out of the Darkness Walk in Hudson on 10/13, for which Mrs. Drossel is coordinating a team.
