We are once again using the online registration site FamilyID (https://www.cairodurham.org/o/cdhs/page/athletics-registration) to register for participation in interscholastic athletics. FamilyID is a secure registration platform that provides you with an easy, user-friendly way to register for our interscholastic athletic programs. When you register through FamilyID, the system keeps track of your information in your FamilyID profile. You enter your information only once for each family member for multiple uses and multiple programs.
THIS IS THE ONLY WAY TO REGISTER FOR PARTICIPATION IN INTERSCHOLASTIC ATHLETICS.
Family ID for Winter Sports will open on Monday, October 28, 2024 and close on Friday, December 6, 2024.

Varsity Volleyball had another great win last night over Germantown. Game scores were 16-25, 26-24, 25-20, and 25-19.

Danasia King: 26 assists, 2 kills, and 12 serve points with 3 aces.
Lauren Thompson: 1 kill and 13 digs.
Angelina Pitcher: 2 kills, 3 digs and 3 serve points.

During the Board of Education meeting this past Wednesday, October 16, the Hall of Fame Committee recognized and thanked those who created the Hall of Fame display at the Cairo-Durham High School.

The Sources of Strength club recently attended the AFSP Out of the Darkness Suicide Prevention Walk.
Students earned community service hours for their PIG class supporting the cause. They assisted with the organization's raffle and CD students were honored when asked to hold the banner to lead the walk!

Reminder: Today is the Parent-Teacher Conference Day on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at the middle and high school. Meeting times are between 1-4 PM and 5-7 PM.
Athletic Study Hall will run tomorrow, Oct. 17, following early dismissal for student-athletes who need a place to stay until afternoon practices/games.
Reminder: On Thursday, October 17, the Cairo-Durham middle and high schools will dismiss at 11:45 am. Buses will still transport high school students to Questar programs at their normally scheduled times.
