It looks like students had fun at our summertime Social Studies enrichment programs! There were three programs focusing on geography, agriculture, and art and history, each taking place over the course of two days in July. Ms. Young and Mrs. Giarrusso led the students in hands-on learning activities and field trips.

Happy School Nurse Day to our own frontline workers! CDE classes made this bandage bulletin board to show their appreciation for our school nurses, who have been working extra hard this year conducting contact tracing and administering COVID tests for student-athletes. To all the school nurses out there (but especially ours), we appreciate you!

This week, middle school Spanish students had fun learning about colors and clothing vocabulary. When Mrs. Misasi asked if anyone wanted to wear “el sombrero,” students got excited and lots of hands went up! Jacob, Brody and Dominique correctly answered questions about colors and clothes so they got to wear the sombreros for the rest of class.

Remember that the Book Fair is this week! The Book Fair will be open from 7:30 AM to 4 PM each day. Don't forget to send money with your kids so that they can check out the latest reads!

There is a PTO Meeting tonight at 7:30 in the auditorium. We will be discussing the budget for next year.

Be sure to congratulate our Volleyball Team on making it to the district finals!
