The Cairo Durham Middle School Student Council is hosting a Glow Dance on Friday, March 31st from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Wear Neon, glow sticks or anything that shows up under the black lights! Concessions will be available for purchase. Pre-sale tickets will be available for $5 March 27th-March 30th before announcements and $8 at the door.

Kindergarten Orientation for the 2023-24 school year will take place on March 27th, 2023 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Cairo-Durham Elementary School located at 424 Main Street in Cairo, NY.
At the orientation, staff will give an overview of the kindergarten program, the screening and registration process, immunization requirements and transportation guidelines. You will also set up your appointment to have your child screened (required). Please call Joanne Cleary with any questions at 518-622-3231.
Orientation is planned for parents/guardians only. Your child will have an opportunity in August to meet their teacher, ride a bus and see the school.
Due to the snow day on March 15th, 2023, the Cairo-Durham Middle School and High School March Concerts will be postponed to the following dates:
The grades 6-12 band concert, originally scheduled for Tuesday, March 14th and then Wednesday, March 15th, is now being moved to Monday, March 20th at 6:30 p.m.
The grades 6-12 chorus concert, originally scheduled for Wednesday, March 15th, is still being moved to Tuesday, March 21st at 6:30 pm.
