August 29, 2023 Dear Cairo-Durham CSD Staff and Families, I am writing to you today to inform you that effective September 11, 2023, the Cairo-Durham CSD’s Wellness Center located at Cairo-Durham Middle and High School will be reopened. The Wellness Center was temporarily closed this summer due to Capital Project work taking place in the building. As a reminder, the Wellness Center is open to district adults, faculty and staff and is open Monday through Thursday from 5:30 a.m. - 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. The Wellness Center is closed on legal holidays, school vacation days, select special events and any school maintenance shutdowns. In order to secure a membership and access the Wellness Center, interested individuals must complete a Wellness Center Participant Information Form and a Physician's Medical Clearance Form, then submit the forms to the district office. Returning members of the Wellness Center must complete a new Participant Information Form. All forms can be found online at https://www.cairodurham.org/page/wellness-center. Bus Routes for the '23-'24 school year can be viewed here: https://www.cairodurham.org/documents/transportation/238390 For all students new to Cairo-Durham, 6th-grade students moving to the Middle School and incoming Kindergarten students, you will receive a phonecall by the end of next week with your child's route and pickup/drop off times. If you did not receive a call by September 1, 2023, please give transportation a call. Any student who was previously on Route 3, please give transportation a call for your new bus route and times.
