Mustangs shine at Youth Fair!
Several Cairo-Durham CSD students won prizes at last week's Youth Fair in Cairo!
- Cole Partridge (CDHS): Showed several cows and won Reserve Grand Champion, Reserve Best of Show, among other awards.
- Autumn Jones (CDES): Showed rabbits and won Best in Breed.
Bernie Zucker (CDES): Won Best of Show for his poster and received an invitation to submit it to the New York State Fair.
Zippie Zucker (CDES): Showed chickens and won Champion Production Bird.
Ryan Young (CDMS): Showed rabbits, chickens, goats, cow, and had non-livestock exhibits. His tree binder was selected for the NY State Fair, his rabbit was awarded second place Best Opposite.

There will be a two-day basketball clinic at Catskill Middle School on August 14-15 for students in grades 4-12! The clinic is hosted by Columbia-Greene Community College men's basketball head coach Connor Maisch and former head coach Brian Smith.

Congratulations to our Cairo-Durham High School student-athletes for being recognized as "Scholar-Athlete Teams" on 14 teams and to the High School for being recognized for a second consecutive year as a "School of Excellence" by the New York State Public High School Athletic Association! To earn the "School of Excellence" award, 75% of a school’s varsity teams must qualify and receive the Scholar-Athlete team award.
