With the 2024 Regents Exams around the corner, we would like to share with you the schedule for review sessions taking place at Cairo-Durham High School! Review sessions will take place after school at 2:20 p.m. in the following locations.
Chemistry: Thursdays in Room D7.
Global 10 Honors: Tuesdays in Room D7.
Earth Science: Tuesdays in Room D10.
Living Environment: Tuesdays and Thursdays in Rooms C4 and C5.
Algebra: Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays in Room D14.
Algebra II: Mondays in Room D15.
U.S. History: June 3, 5, 10 and 12 in Room D4.
ELA: Review will take place during class time.
Geometry: Review will take place during class time.

Congratulations to Ayla Neves for being chosen as Cairo Durham High School's April 2024 Student of the Month!
Ayla, pictured here with Mrs. Maassmann, is a dedicated senior known for her hard work and positive relationships with her teachers. Her educators describe her as a responsible and committed student.
In addition to her academic achievements, Ayla is an active participant in school sports, playing both soccer and softball for Cairo Durham. Outside of school, Ayla loves spending time with her family and cooking. She describes herself as an easy-going person.
Ayla has a passion for history and plans to pursue a career as a history teacher after college.

I hope the warmer weather is finding you all in good spirits! I am writing to inform you of an update to the end-of-year schedule for Cairo-Durham Elementary School.
Monday, June 24, 2024: 12 p.m. (Noon) Dismissal.
Tuesday, June 25, 2024: 12 p.m. (Noon) Dismissal. Last day of school for students!
Wednesday, June 26, 2024: No school for students!
Due to the schedule change, bus routes may take longer than usual June 24-25, 2024 with Cairo-Durham Middle/High School students taking the bus for their Regents/Final Exams.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation with this matter. Please do not hesitate to call the Cairo-Durham Elementary School main office at 518-622-3231 if you have any questions.

Good evening,
This is a reminder that there are no high school classes in session tomorrow, June 4th. Only students taking the Algebra 1 Regents exam should be attending school tomorrow. Students taking the exam should arrive on their normal morning bus run or be dropped off no later than 7:45 AM. Students may be picked up after they are finished taking their exam or remain at the school until the afternoon dismissal bus run at 2:15. This does not impact middle school students. The middle school is operating as normally scheduled.

Cairo-Durham Elementary School's PBIS Committee is hosting its annual "Special Person Dance" TONIGHT, May 31, 2024 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the Cairo-Durham Elementary School gym! Students are invited to bring a person special to them for a great night of fun and dancing!
Please note that the original date listed on the school's calendar had the dance scheduled for May 23, 2024. The dance will take place on Friday, May 31, 2024! Paper copies will be sent home with students soon!
