The Modified Football Team ended their season with a very competitive game versus Green Tech yesterday under the lights. The boys are excited for next season and they can't wait to play again in September.

The Cairo-Durham Middle School Mentoring Program had its monthly meeting for October where the group created scarecrows and had Halloween treats!








The Cairo-Durham Middle School Halloween Dance and Costume Contest is TONIGHT from 6-8:30 p.m.
Admission is $10, snacks will be available for purchase, no weapons or masks will be allowed and the event is for Cairo-Durham Middle School students only!


The Girls Modified Volleyball Team ended their season with a resounding victory over Albany Leadership yesterday afternoon by a score of 2-0. The Girls Modified Soccer Team played a good game against Chatham yesterday that resulted in a 2-2 tie after double overtime. Scoring goals in the game were Abby Wright and Mya DeRose.

The Girls Modified Volleyball Team lost to Greenville yesterday afternoon by a score of 2-0. The next game for the girls is today at Albany Leadership at 4:30.

The middle school students have been very busy on
the Positivity Project Bulletin Board competition. Each grade level team worked together to display positivity throughout the year.
The boards then are judged by a committee. The winning grade level will win an ice cream party. Do you have a favorite?




History was made at Cairo-Durham yesterday night, as the Mustangs hosted their first football game at the High School in Cairo-Durham history. The Cairo/Catskill/Durham team lost under the lights to Hudson by a score of 42-6. The next modified football game is on 10/26 versus Green Tech at 6:00 PM.


Cairo-Durham Middle School will host a Bullying Prevention Theme Week from October 23-27! Here are the theme days:
- Monday, October 23: "Sweat out Bullying" (Wear sweatpants/sweatshirts)
- Tuesday, October 24: "Team Up & Be a Hero Against Bullying" (Wear your favorite team or superhero gear)
- Wednesday, October 25: "Hide from Drugs" (Wear camo)
- Thursday, October 26: "Sock it to Bullying & Drugs/Cairo-Durham Unity Day" (Wear wacky socks and orange clothes)
- Friday, October 27: "Spirit Day" (Wear your Positivity Project/Cairo-Durham gear)
