The Cairo-Durham Boys Varsity Soccer Team defeated Hadley-Luzerne Friday afternoon by a score of 5-0 at a preseason tournament hosted by Middleburgh High School . Andrew Searing-Burke had 2 Goals with Zander Santarelli, Brendan Feeney, and Chase Kelly each adding goals of their own.

The Varsity Golf Team lost to Hudson this afternoon by a score of 10.5 - 1.5. Kevin Feeney posted another Sectional qualifying score for his match.

The Girls Varsity Soccer Team lost to Charlotte Valley this morning by a score of 6-4. Abigail Brandow had an outstanding day for the Mustangs scoring all 4 goals in the loss.

The Varsity Golf Team opened up their season with a tough loss to Taconic Hills on Tuesday by a score of 9.5 - 2.5. Brendan Feeney and Kevin Feeney both posted Sectional qualifying scores for the Mustangs.

August 29, 2023 Dear Cairo-Durham CSD Staff and Families, I am writing to you today to inform you that effective September 11, 2023, the Cairo-Durham CSD’s Wellness Center located at Cairo-Durham Middle and High School will be reopened. The Wellness Center was temporarily closed this summer due to Capital Project work taking place in the building. As a reminder, the Wellness Center is open to district adults, faculty and staff and is open Monday through Thursday from 5:30 a.m. - 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. The Wellness Center is closed on legal holidays, school vacation days, select special events and any school maintenance shutdowns. In order to secure a membership and access the Wellness Center, interested individuals must complete a Wellness Center Participant Information Form and a Physician's Medical Clearance Form, then submit the forms to the district office. Returning members of the Wellness Center must complete a new Participant Information Form. All forms can be found online at https://www.cairodurham.org/page/wellness-center. Modified Football practice begins on Thursday, 8/24, at Catskill High School at 5:00 on the Turf Field. All 7th, 8th, and 9th graders can tryout for the Modified Football Team.

There will be a two-day basketball clinic at Catskill Middle School on August 14-15 for students in grades 4-12! The clinic is hosted by Columbia-Greene Community College men's basketball head coach Connor Maisch and former head coach Brian Smith.
