CAIRO, NY – The Cairo-Durham Central School District is proud to announce the launch of the “Mustang Monthly Alumni Spotlight”.

The Cairo-Durham Central School District is proud of the efforts of Mackenzie Sherburne, Lauren Zecca, and Rachel Maggio, for organizing a Winter Clothing Drive where people could come and take as many items as they needed at no cost.
After being tasked with creating a project that would benefit their community in their Civic and Readiness Class, the three students successfully advertised and collected over 50 bags of clothing items to give to those in need for the colder months ahead.
Those who stopped at the clothing drive expressed their gratitude by explaining no matter how many people came to the drive, they had already impacted the lives of so many. These three students are hoping that this would be the first annual clothing drive at the high school to better serve their community.
