Cairo-Durham High School and Questar III BOCES Welding junior Connor Alberson has been busy fabricating the stands for the Cat'n Around Catskill" celebration in downtown Catskill under the supervision of and with assistance from Cairo-Durham High School alumni Augie Freeman!
Students were able to view a preview of tonight's opening of "Newsies". Show starts at 7 tonight! Tickets can be purchased at the door, first come, first serve!
The Cairo-Durham Class of 2024 is hosting a "Nothing Bundt" cake fundraiser! Each Bundt cake costs $7, with orders and payments due to the Cairo-Durham High School Main Office by March 3, 2024. Orders will be delivered on March 14, 2024, or March 15, 2024 (Superintendent's Conference Day) at Cairo-Durham High School.
Available flavors are the following:
Lemon, White Chocolate Raspberry, Red Velvet, Chocolate Chip, Classic Vanilla, Gluten-Free Chocolate Chip and Oreo Cookies and Cream.

The Boys Varsity Volleyball Team lost to Catskill last night in the Class C/D Sectional Finals at Rensselaer by a score of 3-2. It was a great back and forth match with tremendous crowd support for our Mustangs.
Mustang Pride was on full display in the Cairo-Durham Central School District, as we wish the best of luck to our Varsity Boys Volleyball team competing in the Section 2 Class C championship match tonight at 7 p.m. at Rensselaer High School against Catskill! On March 14, 2024, the Cairo-Durham High School Classes are hosting an 'Elementary Teacher vs. Middle/High School Teacher' basketball game as a fundraiser! Tickets for entrance to the game will be sold, as well as concessions.
The CDTA will sell 50/50 tickets, with proceeds toward the CDTA Scholarship fund. The Booster Club will be selling school merchandise.
Each high school class has been assigned a list of concession items to avoid duplicates. The money raised from the concession stand will offset the cost of class activities such as pep rallies, prom, the senior trip and more. Please see the attachment for what each class is responsible for.
