Parents/guardians of incoming kindergarten students are invited to join us for a Kindergarten Orientation meeting on Thursday, March 31, 2022 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. It will be held at Cairo-Durham Elementary School (424 Main Street, Cairo).
This orientation event is planned for parents ONLY – your child will have an opportunity in August to meet their teacher and see the school.
At the orientation we will give an overview of the kindergarten program, the screening and registration process, immunization requirements and transportation guidelines. You will also set up your appointment to have your child screened (required).

To be eligible for kindergarten this fall, children must be five (5) years of age on or before December 1, 2022 and reside within the Cairo-Durham Central School District.
