Cologido "Gedo" Fanelli, a member of the Class of 2028 at Cairo Durham High School, has been recognized as the April 2025 Student of the Month. Gedo participates in both football and wrestling and enjoys spending time on the wrestling mat most of all. His wrestling coach, Mr. Grasse commented, "Gedo has been one of my wrestlers for the past three years, and he’s shown immense growth as an athlete and student. I’m so proud of him receiving student of the month and growing into such a nice young man".
Friends describe him as funny and easy to get along with, but he also values his independence. Outside of school, Cologido is interested in sports and hopes to attend college to continue his athletic pursuits. If not, he plans to study law and become a lawyer.
