We are happy to announce that we are bringing back the Veterans Day Program at Cairo-Durham Middle School on Tuesday, November 10!
We look forward to bringing our school community together to recognize and honor the brave men and women who have served our country.
We are also asking for your help in two ways:
1. Share a Veteran's Photo
Students and families are invited to share a photo of a loved one who has served in the United States Armed Forces. Please include the veteran's name, branch of service, and relationship to the student.
We would like to create a schoolwide tribute featuring photos of veterans connected to our school community.

OR Submit a photo through the google form linked here
Please include the veteran’s name, branch of military service (if known), and relationship to the student.
2. Invite a Veteran
Students, staff, and parents/guardians are encouraged to invite family members or loved ones who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces.
Veterans are welcome to attend our schoolwide celebration at the middle school which includes coffee from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM and the Ceremony from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Tuesday, November 10, 2026.
Please return the invitation form sent home with students to let us know you're planning to attend.
