
The Boys Varsity Tennis Team defeated Waterford-Halfmoon by a score of 7-0 on Tuesday afternoon.

On Monday the Varsity Baseball Team defeated Hunter Tannersville/WAJ by a score of 18-3 while the Boys Varsity Tennis Team beat Taconic Hills by a score of 4-3.

Prom Dress Reminder: There are still available prom dresses in the Student Services Office at CDHS, along with some shoes. They will be here the remainder of this week before moving on to another district. Please encourage your student(s) to come down during their free periods, and also encourage those who may be attending prom next year or if they need a dress for another event.


The 10th grade STAR class went on its annual field trip on April 22 to Cooperstown! They visited the Cooperstown Escape Room (teachers versus students) and the Farmers Museum. The students and chaperones Mrs. Gori, Mr. Higgins, Ms. Edwards and Mrs. Lang also went out for dinner and ate a family style meal .

The Boys Varsity Track and Field Team lost to Maple Hill (115-26) and Catskill (83-48) in their Tri-meet and the Boys Varsity Tennis Team lost to Greenville 5-2 on Thursday.

Last week the Girls Varsity Track and Field Team beat Catskill (66-57) and lost to Maple Hill (83-41) in their Tri-meet. Lauren Zecca came in 1st place in the 100 meter dash, Jessica Baeckmann came in 1st place in the high jump, and our 4 x 100 relay team, Mackenzie Sherburne, Tashana James, Lauren Zecca, and Issabella Zelinsky, also came in 1st place.

The Varsity Softball Team lost at Hudson yesterday by a score of 23-11 and the Varsity Baseball Team lost by a score of 11-4.

The Varsity Baseball team lost to Maple Hill yesterday 6-3, the Varsity Softball Team lost to Maple Hill 27-3, and the Boys Varsity Tennis Team lost to Maple Hill by a score of 6-0.

Mr. Hitchen and Mr. Yaple teamed up for a lesson about the Scientific Method! Students in Mr. Hitchen's/Mrs. Goodwin's 9th grade Global class are studying the scientific revolution, and Mr. Yaple's AP Chem students led a lesson about the Scientific Method.
