On March 14, 2024, the Cairo-Durham High School Classes are hosting an 'Elementary Teacher vs. Middle/High School Teacher' basketball game as a fundraiser! Tickets for entrance to the game will be sold, as well as concessions.
The CDTA will sell 50/50 tickets, with proceeds toward the CDTA Scholarship fund. The Booster Club will be selling school merchandise.
Each high school class has been assigned a list of concession items to avoid duplicates. The money raised from the concession stand will offset the cost of class activities such as pep rallies, prom, the senior trip and more. Please see the attachment for what each class is responsible for.

Cairo-Durham High School students are working on improving their landscape painting skills in Studio Art class!
The Cairo-Durham Class of 2024 is hosting a "Nothing Bundt" cake fundraiser! Each Bundt cake costs $7, with orders and payments due to the Cairo-Durham High School Main Office by March 3, 2024. Orders will be delivered on March 14, 2024, or March 15, 2024 (Superintendent's Conference Day) at Cairo-Durham High School.
Available flavors are the following:
Lemon, White Chocolate Raspberry, Red Velvet, Chocolate Chip, Classic Vanilla, Gluten-Free Chocolate Chip and Oreo Cookies and Cream.

Last night the Boys Varsity Volleyball Team defeated Voorheesville by a score of 3-0 to finish the season in third place in the Patroon Conference. Sectionals are next for the Mustangs with a match on Tuesday, 2/27, at Ichabod Crane, at 4:30.

The Cairo-Durham Central School District is proud to announce Bridget "Bunny" Agostinoni, Emily Brunner, Patricia Gibson, and Caroline Benton Pfleger as the inductees of the Mustang Pride Hall of Fame Class of 2024.
“The four inductees all exemplify passion for the Cairo-Durham Central School District in their own ways and contributions,” said Superintendent Michael Wetherbee. “Their extensive service to the District in the field of academics, athletics, coaching, teaching, administration, employment, volunteerism and/or community service have left an incredible impact on our students, staff and school community.”
The Mustang Pride Hall of Fame Class of 2024 induction ceremony will take place on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at the Shamrock House in East Durham at 5 p.m. To purchase tickets to the event, please contact Tom Karnes, committee member, by email at tkarnes17@aol.com or phone, 518-821-0616. The Cairo-Durham Central School District is excited to announce its Cairo-Durham High School High Honor Roll and Honor Roll members for the second quarter of the 2023-24 school year.
To qualify for High Honor Roll, students must record a grade point average of 90 or higher throughout the quarter. To qualify for Honor Roll, students must record a grade point average between 85 and 89. Congratulations, students!

The Boys Varsity Volleyball Team lost a thriller last night to Ichabod Crane by a score of 3-2. The score of the last set was 15-13 to determine the winning team. The next game for the Mustangs is on Thursday, 2/15, at 6:00 in the MS Gym.

Thursday, Feb. 15: Boys Varsity Volleyball vs Voorheesville in the CDMS Gym at 6 p.m.
(This game determines who finishes in 3rd and 4th place in the league this year.)
The Girls Varsity Basketball Team ended their season last night with a loss at Chatham. The girls are looking forward to a more successful season next year. The Boys Varsity Volleyball Team has a match at Chatham tonight versus Ichabod Crane. This game is a part of the Patroon Conference Championships and starts at 5:00 tonight.

Cairo-Durham High School students Chris Cherrington & Anthony Panicola recently had work selected to be displayed at the Juried High School Students Art Show at Columbia-Greene Community College! The exhibition runs from Feb. 8, 2024 until March 3, 2024.
