The Golden Gala Prom is set for Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 6–10 PM at The Forelands in Catskill. Tickets are $75 per person or $140 per couple. Coronation begins at 4:30 PM at CDHS.
All students attending prom and their guests must attend Prom Promise on June 4th at 6:00PM, in the cafeteria. Students and their guests must be accompanied by their parent/guardian.

The 2025 C-D MS/HS Student Art Exhibition opened on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, in the C-D MS/HS main hallway, with senior Advanced Studio Art students' work on view in the media center. It will be on exhibit through June 6.

The middle and high schools will dismiss at 11:45 am, and the elementary school and AM Pre-K will dismiss at 12:45 pm. There will not be any PM Pre-K. Buses will still transport high school students to Questar programs at their normally scheduled times. Also, school will be closed on Friday, May 23, 2025, through Monday, May 26, 2025.

The Capital District YMCA honored Cairo-Durham students and a teacher for their outstanding and dedicated community contributions at its Student & Educator Breakfast held on May 7 at the Pegasus Restaurant in Coxsackie. We are pleased to announce that this year’s Junior/Senior Prom will take place on Saturday, June 7th, between 6:00 - 10:00 PM at Forelands in Catskill. This special evening promises to be a memorable celebration for our students, and we are looking forward to sharing a wonderful night with them.
In preparation for the event, please note that attendance at Prom Promise is
mandatory for all students planning to attend prom. Each student must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at this important meeting, which will be held on Wednesday, June 4th at Cairo-Durham High School. Prom Promise is designed to promote the safety and well-being of all attendees and to clearly outline expectations for the evening.
