He is also actively involved in Cairo Durham’s music program. He participated in this year's Musical, "Newsies", and plays the tuba in the High School's band and marching band.

His teachers look forward to his daily “dad” jokes. Ms. Edwards' Algebra 1A and Mrs. Jones' College Math Prep classes at Cairo-Durham High School recently teamed up for a review session for the Algebra 1A class's final exam! Mrs. Jones' students have the foundation of the Algebra 1A class and then expand on that material throughout the year to strengthen their skills and prepare them for an entry-level college math class. The students worked together in groups, as the College Math Prep students helped the Algebra 1A students complete review worksheets and retaught them any content they struggled with. The Algebra 1A class was very responsive and appreciative of the College Math Prep class's help. Way to go, Mustangs, and best of luck on your exams!
