Eight high school Digital Photography students had work selected for another highly competitive regional art show, the 2022 Capital Region Media Arts Festival and Exhibition, held on April 13, 2022.

Two sophomores – Nova Conti and Tatyanna Young – were Honorable Mentions in the Photography: Special Processes or Techniques awards category as voted on by the panel of judges.

The CDHS artists joined students from 16 other schools in the Capital Region who presented artwork in the categories of film, photography, animation, typography, digital fine art and more.

Congratulations to Nova and Tatyanna, as well as sophomores John Boz, Selena Perez, Echo Roe, Kirsten Wagner and Sam Winig, and junior Braeden Deyo on being selected to participate in the regional art exhibition. See their works below.

“We are so proud of our students for once again standing out in the region,” said Lily McCabe, a teacher and curriculum coordinator in the CDHS Art Department.

In March, four CDHS Art students had work selected and two received awards at the 23rd Annual High School Regional Juried Art Exhibition.
