Congratulations to Christopher Roberts, our Cairo-Durham High School Student of the Month for November! Christopher is pictured here with his STAR  (Students Taking Academic Responsibility) Program teachers, Mrs. Lang, Mrs. Gori, Mr. Higgins, and Mrs. Edwards! He greatly appreciates each one of them, just as they greatly appreciate him. At Cairo-Durham, Christopher is known by his teachers and peers as a “good guy.” He is attentive and focused in class and demonstrates a genuine desire to do well! His level of determination has been recognized by all. Over his high school years, Christopher has exhibited tremendous growth; in fact, he has worked so diligently that he will be graduating in January! Not only does he complete his work diligently and thoroughly, Christopher goes above and beyond in the classroom in several other ways as well.  He helps other students, often even during his own study hall time, has leadership qualities, expresses a positive, role-model personality, and is an excellent example of respect and responsibility. In addition to being an outstanding student in the classroom, Christopher continues to show leadership traits outside the classroom as well such as on field trips and within our community. We are honored to have this amazing young man in our district and pleased to be able to honor him in this way. Congratulations Christopher!
