Congratulations to CDHS students, Copper Hulbert, Lucas Lounsbury, and Austin Hilgendorff, who won the 2026 NYS title with Greenville's Clay Trap Team over the weekend!
Cooper helped lead the Greenville Clay Trap Team to the 2026 New York State 2A Division Championship on June 6, as the team finished first out of 48 schools with an impressive score of 468/500. The team also tied for the highest overall score recorded during the three-day state tournament.
Cooper scored 93/100 at the state championship and tied for 16th place individually. He has been part of the Greenville Clay Trap Team for three years. He was also one of six athletes to shoot a perfect round of 25 during the competition.
The Greenville varsity team dominated throughout the spring season, maintaining first place during all five weeks of Conference 4(16) competition.
