Dear CDE Families,
This letter is to inform you of an upcoming change in the Cairo-Durham Elementary School main office.
At the June 9th Board of Education meeting, Mrs. Danielle Czech, elementary assistant principal, was appointed as the new principal at Cairo-Durham Middle School effective July 1, 2022. She will replace Dr. Dotan Schips, who was appointed on June 9th to the Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction position after Dr. Michelle Reed announced she accepted a superintendent position at Seneca Falls CSD.
Mrs. Czech will remain available to assist and support CDE families and staff through the end of June before beginning her new role as middle school principal on July 1st. In the coming weeks, the District will begin the search process for a new elementary school assistant principal. We are determined to find someone who shares our values and commitment to providing your child with the best educational experience possible.
