Positive Case & Shift to Remote Learning for Grades 9-12
The District was informed that a high school student tested positive for COVID-19. Due to staff shortages resulting from precautionary quarantines, Grades 9-12 must pivot to remote instruction starting on Friday, February 5, 2021. In-person classes at CDHS will resume after the winter recess on Monday, February 22.
1st Semester Positive Referrals
Tons of middle school students earned positive referrals from staff during the first semester. Students earn positive recognition from staff by exhibiting positive behavior, going above and beyond, putting others first, and demonstrating P2 character traits.
Positive Cases at CDE & CDHS (2/3)
The District was notified of an elementary student and a remote high school student who tested positive for COVID-19. No school contact tracing was required.
2 Hour Delay Today
Cairo-Durham Schools are running on a 2 hour delay today, Wednesday, February 3rd. No AM BOCES or AM Pre-K.
8th Grade Transition Night (2/3)
All 8th grade parents/guardians and students are invited to the virtual 8th Grade Transition Night on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at 6 p.m. Topics will include course selection and the transition process from 8th to 9th grade.
