Budget 2020-2021

(UPDATE June 7, 2020) Governor Cuomo announced an Executive Order extending the deadline for the receipt of school district absentee ballots. To be counted, school budget ballots can be accepted by hand delivery through 5 p.m. on June 9 (see here for ballot drop off information) and received by the school district by mail through June 16. Click here for more details on how to complete and submit your absentee ballot to ensure your vote is counted.


The annual Budget Vote & Board of Education Election will occur by absentee ballot only on June 9, 2020, per Governor Cuomo's Executive Order. Eligible voters will receive absentee ballots and pre-paid return envelopes in the mail. Completed ballots must be received (not postmarked) by June 9. Learn about the proposed budget below.

Important Dates

Thursday, May 21, 2020 – Proposed budget presented to the BOE for adoption via Zoom (6 p.m.)

Monday, June 1, 2020 – Annual Budget Hearing via Zoom (6 p.m.)

Tuesday, June 9, 2020 – Due date for absentee ballots if they are to be dropped off in person (by 5 p.m.)

Tuesday, June 16, 2020 – Due date for absentee ballots if they are to be mailed to the school district; click here for information about the ballot count live stream (5 p.m.)
