Congratulations to the following students for making the first quarter honor rolls at Cairo-Durham Middle School:
On November 30, the District was informed that a student at Cairo-Durham Elementary School tested positive for COVID-19 last week. Based on the student’s last date of in-person attendance, the DOH has advised that in-person instruction at CDE can continue as usual.
More than 135 high school students made honor rolls for the first quarter. Congrats to all!
All Cookie Dough orders may be dropped off at the High School or the District Office Monday, 11/30 or Tuesday 12/1. As a reminder all orders MUST be in by the end of the day on Tuesday December 1st.
After completing contact tracing related to the recent positive COVID-19 case at the middle/high school, the District has decided that Grades 6-12 will remain remote for the week of November 30-December 4. This is due to the number of staff members required to quarantine as a precaution and a high demand for substitutes.
We received confirmation that a staff member at Cairo-Durham Middle/High School tested positive for COVID-19. Out of an abundance of caution, Grades 6-12 will shift to a remote learning schedule tomorrow (Tuesday, November 24, 2020) to allow adequate time to assess the extent of potential contact within our school community.
