The Cairo-Durham High School Art Department is pleased to announce that Xxaria Makely (12), Brianna Schermerhorn (12) and James Mutinsky (11) had work selected for the 22nd Annual High School Regional Juried Art Exhibition.

Xxaria, Brianna and James are among 100 high school students who were chosen to participate in the annual art exhibition. Their works were selected from 350 entries submitted by 22 high schools around the Capital Region. Submissions were reviewed and chosen by a panel of art educators and artists including Jennie Tang, Jade Warwick and Matthew Weinheimer.

The exhibit showcases a variety of student work and media such as painting, drawing, photography, film, digital media, and sculpture. Images of Xxaria, Brianna and James’ pieces are below.

The 22nd Annual High School Regional Juried Art Exhibition can be viewed in person at the Albany Center Gallery during gallery hours from March 25th through April 16th (488 Broadway #107, Albany, NY). The Albany Center Gallery exhibits can also be toured virtually.
