Thousands Raised for AHA Fundraiser

The CDMS Physical Education Department raised $2600 for the American Heart Association during its second annual fundraiser!

On December 19, 2019, middle school students donated money to “buy” extra PE classes, from one extra class to an entire day of gym time. In order to participate, students had to be in good standing in their classes and have very few referrals.

At the end of the day, CDMS students Nick Olivett and Lauren Thompson were recognized as the top fundraisers. They each donated $50! Nick and Lauren also got to take home a set of prizes, including new basketballs, an air soccer game, t-shirts, key chains and stuffed animals.
