Psychology students recently visited the Clark Art Institute in Williamstown, MA to tour the museum and examine the themes of Art and Human Nature.

The museum guide spoke with students about body language and how viewers could be informed of the psychology of the subjects and the different moods evoked by landscapes. Students also considered how our society has changed in terms of social class differences, race, and gender from the past.

They enjoyed viewing the art collection, which featured many great works from 1600 to the early 1900s. Mr. Pisano and his Psychology students also said the newly redesigned grounds at the Clark Art Institute were awe inspiring . They really enjoyed the peaceful reflection pool and how the Japanese minimalist aesthetic seamlessly blended into the natural environment.
