Positive Case at CDHS (5/3)

May 3, 2021

Dear Cairo-Durham Families,

The District was informed that a remote high school student tested positive for COVID-19. Since the student has not been physically present on campus, no school contact tracing was required.

Please continue to follow the recommended health and safety protocols to help stop the spread of COVID-19 in the community, even if you are fully vaccinated. This includes wearing masks or face coverings, practicing social distancing, avoiding gatherings, washing your hands, and staying home if you/your child are unwell or awaiting test results. Experts recommend following these guidelines even if you are fully vaccinated. We also encourage you and your family to get vaccinated if you are eligible. Vaccines are available in Greene County and they are free.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation and diligence to help keep us all safe and healthy. If you have questions or need assistance, or if you need to report a COVID-19 related health issue, please reach out to the schools or email your child’s principal.
