Interim Asst. Principal at CDMS/HS

Dear Parents and Guardians,

I am writing to inform you of a temporary transition in the Cairo-Durham Middle/High School main office.

Starting on December 10, 2020, Assistant Principal Witazek will be taking a temporary leave of absence through January 25, 2021. Stepping in as interim assistant principal is Ms. Amelia Gallagher. She has previous experience in Greene County, serving as the Guidance Department Coordinator at Windham-Ashland-Jewett CSD from 2002 to 2004. Ms. Gallagher most recently held assistant principal and interim principal positions at Delaware Community School in the Albany City School District.

Your child’s success and well-being will remain a top priority during this time. During Mr. Witazek’s absence, Principal Moore, Principal Schips and Ms. Gallagher will be available for assistance at CDMS/HS.
