Superintendent Fassett will be holding a Stakeholder meeting on Wednesday, February 12th from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at the Durham Town Hall.
The Board of Education will be holding a Special Workshop tonight, Monday, February 3rd, at 6:30pm in the Middle School Cafeteria. At this workshop, Dr. Seversky will speak about the Facilities Usage Study process and what that process entails. Dr. Seversky will not be presenting his Facilities Usage Study report tonight. There is still much work to be done. Rather, he will be working with the Board to develop a blueprint for the study regarding the Pre-Kindergarten through Grade Twelve program over the next three years.
Attached is the list of dates for Koffee Klatch and Stakeholder meetings being held by Superintendent Fassett in February.
This is an important reminder of an event being held at the Colonie Central High School on January 30, 2014 to urge our state representatives to eliminate the Gap Elimination Adjustment (GEA) and restore adequate and equitable funding back to our school.
Superintendent Fassett will be holding the next Koffee Klatch meeting on Tuesday, February 4th from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at the Cairo Public Library.
There is a NY Schools STILL in Fiscal Peril meeting taking place at Colonie Central High School on January 30, 2014 at 6:30pm. The topic for the meeting is the impact of recent state school aid policies on schools and students and the ongoing fiscal crisis in public schools. The meeting is open to anyone interested in attending.
