(Tuesday, May 21, 2019) -- Cairo-Durham Central School District voters approved the District's $31,806,451 budget for the 2019-20 school year with 569 in favor and 260 opposed. Additionally, voters approved the bus proposition to allow the District to purchase six (6) school buses by 594 yes votes to 236 no votes.
In the Board of Education election, Nicole Maggio, Todd Hilgendorff and Dale Handel were elected to fill three-year terms ending in 2022. Bernadette Gavin-Palmieri received the fourth highest number of votes and will therefore complete the one-year term expiring in 2020.
