  • Knowledge of differentiation strategies

School Psychologist Leave of Absence (re-posting)

The Cairo-Durham CSD is accepting applications for a maternity leave school psychologist
at Cairo Durham Elementary School.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Master’s Degree in School Psychology
  • New York State Certification in School Psychology (provisional or permanent certification will be considered)

Duties include:

  • Collaboration with teachers and pupil personnel service providers
  • Complete Functional Behavior Assessment/Behavior Intervention Plans
  • Consult with parents and staff members on student behavioral concerns
  • Crisis intervention
  • Individual and small-group counseling
  • Psychological testing, including providing written reports
  • Serving as a member of elementary Committees on Special Education and Instructional Support Teams

SCHOOL BUS DRIVER

Position Title:  School Bus Driver

Anticipated Start Date: September 1, 2021

Position Status:  Full-time

Reports to: Herb Schwanse Jr., Transportation Supervisor

The Cairo Durham Central School District is now accepting applications for the opening of one (1) full-time School Bus Driver.  This is a 10 month a year position.

Essential Duties:

  • School bus drivers pick up students at stops along established routes and drop them off at school.
  • They may also transport students and faculty to special events, such as field trips or sporting events

Qualifications and Experience:

  • All applicants must be 21 years of age and posses a clean NYS CDL “B” license with both a Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) Endorsement.
  • Cleared fingerprints required.
· High School diploma or equivalent required.
· References will be checked upon application.

2 FULL TIME CLEANERS

Position Title:  Cleaner

Position Status:  Full-time – 40 hours per week

Reports to: Kevin Lawton, Facilities Director II

 

The Cairo Durham Central School District is now accepting applications for the opening of

 (2) two full-time Cleaners. 

 

Essential Duties:

  • Primary responsibilities are to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for staff and students.
  • Maintain cleanliness of all assigned areas of the facility
  • Participate in snow and ice removal
  • Maintain a security presence and building cleanliness during community functions scheduled for their assigned building
  • Other duties as assigned within the scope of the cleaner position
