School Bus Driver

Anticipated Start Date: November 13, 2020

Position Status:  Full-time

Reports to: Herb Schwanse Jr., Transportation Supervisor

The Cairo Durham Central School District is now accepting applications for the opening of one (1) full-time School Bus Driver.  This is a 10 month a year position.

Essential Duties:

  • School bus drivers pick up students at stops along established routes and drop them off at school.
  • They may also transport students and faculty to special events, such as field trips or sporting events.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • All applicants must be 21 years of age and posses clean NYS CDL “B” license with both a Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) Endorsement.
  • Cleared fingerprints required.
· High School diploma or equivalent required.
· References will be checked upon application.

Qualifications:

Substitute School Bus Divers - Applicants must have clean CDL "B" license with passenger and school bus endorsement with at least one year of experience.  Should an applicant have CLD "B" permit, we will train at applicant's expense. If interested, please complete the general application and submit it to:
