Kathleen Snyder is ranked seventh in the Cairo-Durham High School graduating class of 2018. During her four years of high school, Kathleen participated in Interact Club, serving as secretary and president, Model UN, Mock Trial, and was her class Treasurer. She received recognition in the area of science by being awarded the RIT Metal of Computing Scholarship, and was voted one of News Channel 13’s “Thirteen Kids Who Care” for her avid participation in her community. In the fall, Kathleen plans to attend Hudson Valley Community College, majoring in Computer Information Systems. In the future, Kathleen would like to transfer to a four-year school and obtain a degree in software engineering, and pursue a career working on projects pertaining to space exploration and navigation.
