Last evening, Cairo-Durham CSD officials and law enforcement authorities responded to an online allegation that there would be violence at the middle school/high school on Friday.
Within learning of this posting the district immediately contacted the state police, who launched an investigation into the statement.
Bus Routes as of August 31, 2016
Bus routes for all students as of August 31, 2016 are now available. Please call the Transportation Office at 622-2236 if you are having problems locating your child's pick up or drop off location or time.
Change in the Immunization Requirements for Kindergarten
Dear Kindergarten Families,
There is a change in NYS Immunization law effective September 1st, 2015.
All incoming Kindergarten students are required to submit immunization/ shot records before they are allowed to start school on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015.
Your child will not be able to start school without the above required paperwork handed in to the school
If you have any questions regarding this change in Law, please contact Ms. Selner , RN at 622-3231 ext. 37000.

Elementary School holds Field Day
The Elementary School held their Field Days on June 5 and June 10. Field Day is a great way to celebrate a successful year, to enjoy the beautiful weather, and to keep kids healthy and active! Students had a great time and are already looking forward to next year's event!

Mr. LaBarge's Class won Achieve 3000 Contest
During the school year, Mr. LaBarge's class won an award for their success with Achieve 3000. They were the only class out of 700 Northeast region schools to have every student complete the 40 recommended activities. Great job, kids!
