Former Student Molly Boutin Featured in ScienceDaily

Former student Molly Boutin has been featured in ScienceDaily for a study that she conducted with 3-D cell structures. This study is the first to evaluate see-through chemical technologies of animal tissues side-by-side with engineered 3-D tissue cultures. Read more about it here!

Career Fair

The Cairo-Durham Middle School will be holding a Career Fair tomorrow, Thursday, November 13. Students will hear from a number of businesses/organizations that will inform their career plans. See the attached flyer.

Chili Cook-off results are in!

Ms. O'Brien's Life Skills class had a chili cook-off last week! Students found recipes and cooked their own chili, abiding by the New York State Food Safety regulations just like they would in a real restaurant.

40 Music Students Going to All-County

About 40 music students from all buildings in Cairo-Durham will be participating in All-County at Greenville on November 5 and 7. There are 4 groups performing Friday night; Elementary Chorus, Junior Band, Senior Chorus and Jazz Ensemble. The guest conductors are renowned music educators in the area and have selected great music for the students.
