At approximately 7:55 a.m. today, an elementary school bus had a minor collision with a parked car. All nine students who were on the bus were checked by the school nurse at the scene. The Cairo-Durham Board of Education election and budget vote will be held on May 19 from 12:00 - 9:00 p.m. in the Middle School Cafeteria. There are three open seats on the Cairo-Durham Board of Education. One of the seats would fill the expired term of Brian Coletti for one month and 12 days before beginning a three-year term.
