For the annual Market Day fundraising event at CDE, fifth graders created a variety of products to sell to students and school staff. They also had to create names for their products and "businesses" to display on their tables in the large gym.
Kids could purchase tickets to use as currency (two tickets cost $1) and shop for handmade items costing 1-3 tickets. The wide variety of Market Day products included headbands, slime, dream catchers, piggy banks, sensory tools and small toys.
The fifth grade classes raised a total of $2,447.19 to put toward their field trip to the Boston Aquarium.
Thank you to everyone who helped the fifth graders put on another successful Market Day!
