The following presentation was given on February 12th, 2014 for 8th grade students and parents. Please contact your student's Guidance Counselor with any questions or concerns.
The Cairo-Durham High School Curriculum Fair is scheduled for Thursday, March 6th from 4-7 pm in the High School Gymnasium. Teachers and counselors will be on hand to talk about course offerings as well as answer any questions in order to help students plan for the 2014-2015 school year. Students will be able to initiate or continue the course selection process as they build their schedule for the upcoming school year.
Community Action of Greene County is holding its annual "Say Yes to The Prom Dress Event" . Through this non-funded donation only program, Greene County students whom are at an economic disadvantage are provided with prom wear and hopefully some confidence at no cost. This year, the cheerleaders attended the Gilboa Conesville Cheerleading Competition on February 1st. Cairo-Durham not only took home the 2nd place trophy, but Sabrina Maynard won 1st place in the Individual Jump Competition and Mariah Szlachetka won 2nd place. Not only were they impressive on the floor but they showed others what a positive, high spirited cheerleader looks like.

It has been six years that the Interact Club has been volunteering their time to help organize the Backpack program. Partnered with the Cairo Food Pantry, the members of this club pack snacks,drinks and dinners into plastic bags. These bags are delivered to Cairo-Durham Intermediate School for distribution on Friday for the students in need.
