Getting a Jump Start on the SAT
Congratulations to the 54 eligible Middle School students who have the option to take the SAT exam before they even reach High School.
Students were selected by the Johns Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth – a leader in education who conducts national and international searches to identify, assess, and recognize academic talent.
The Middle School students who have the option to take the SAT exam were chosen for scoring a 4 on their New York State Assessments in Math and/or English/Language/Arts (ELA).
“It’s exciting that some of our Middle School students have the opportunity to take a test normally designed for older students,” said Kristina Westfall, Middle School Counselor. “Taking the SAT exam early is just one example of our students’ potential to do anything.”
