Cairo-Durham High School is proud to announce our Student Mentoring Program.

Peer Group Connection (PGC) is designed to
-Build caring, safe learning communities where diversity is respected and celebrated
-Motivate students to get involved in school activities, improve academic performance and make a life-long commitment to learning
-Develop leadership skills that can help students to make positive changes in their school environment
-Increase confidence in fulfilling academic and social responsibilities

Mentoring Dates for the 2008-2009 School Year

October 23rd/October 28th
October 30th/November 3rd
November 5th/November 7th
November 12th/November 14th
November 18th/November 20th

Meetings with Mentors will be once a month for the remainder of the school year with open sessions during lunch for students to meet with their mentors individually.
