Getting a Jump Start on the SAT
Congratulations to the 54 eligible Middle School students who have the option to take the SAT exam before they even reach High School.
Students were selected by the Johns Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth – a leader in education who conducts national and international searches to identify, assess, and recognize academic talent.
The Middle School students who have the option to take the SAT exam were chosen for scoring a 4 on their New York State Assessments in Math and/or English/Language/Arts (ELA).

We are close to our goal! We have raised a total of $10,500 for a new piano to replace the 1923 built piano, which many Cairo-Durham students, past and present, have had the pleasure of playing.
However, this piano is old and is not holding up well with age.
