Brittany Stanquist has been named Student of the Year at Cairo-Durham High School. Throughout her high school career she has taken challenging classes, including five AP classes and two UHS classes in foreign language. As a high school student Brittany has already earned 23 college credits. In addition to her academic excellence she is the president of the National Honor Society at Cairo-Durham and takes this responsibility very seriously. Brittany is a member of the Model United Nations Club and is part of the Peer Group Connection where she mentors ninth graders as they transition into high school. She is also a member of the track team and still finds time to work at a local resort and help out at home. “She truly is a model student,” said High School Principal Anthony Taibi.
