Sweetie, a 21 month old German Shepherd from "Tail Waggin' Tutors" Reading Program visited students at Durham Elementary.
The “Tail Waggin’ Tutors” program is one of the many services offered by Therapy Dogs International. The program allows students to interact with and learn about dogs in a positive manner. Children read aloud to the dogs, which increases confidence and helps to improve reading skills.
