Homeowners can determine their projected school district property tax bills for the 2008-09 school year with the district’s new tax calculator.

The calculator determines what a property’s projected tax bill will be if the district’s 2008-09 budget proposal is approved by voters on May 20. The calculator works for all of the district’s eight communities: Cairo, Durham, Athens, Catskill, Conesville, Coxsackie, Greenville and Rensselaerville.

Attached is the Education Matters Newsletter for May 2008. The Budget Vote and Election of Board Members is May 20, 2008 from
12pm - 9pm in the Middle School cafeteria. Voter Registration is May 13, 2008 from 12pm - 8pm in the High School lobby. The Budget Hearing and regular BOE meeting is May 13, 2008 at 7pm in the MS/HS Media Center.
The Budget Newsletter will be mailed on May 14, 2008. You can access this newsletter by clicking on the Newsletter or Budget links to the right of this web site.

Attached is the minutes from the Budget Advisory Committee meeting held on March 27, 2008. This was the last committee meeting scheduled for the 2007-08 school year.
